The staff is extremely friendly. Rooms are spotless and very comfortable beds. Had a great nights sleep. The chocolate is a lovely touch these days where all those extras are gone in hotels. Only observation would be some more coeliac options on the menu. Otherwise fantastic stay.

Super clean hotel. Spacious rooms - friendly staff - dinner and drinks are great here in the adjacent bar - breakfast is made to order and a real standout. I visit a lot of hotels due to work commitments and the breakfast on both occasions is Uk there with 5 star resorts. Well done chefs.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was large but cozy, very clean. The staff were so friendly and informative of local area. The chocolate left in our room was delicious. If we ever visit Ireland again, we will definitely stay there.

We particularly enjoyed the breakfast at Castle Varagh and the fact that it was made to order. Our room was spacious and well maintained. The bar/restaurant was a pleasant place to spend the evening. Most of all, all of your staff were so pleasant and helpful. Thanks.

The hotel has undergone a significant refurbishment since I stayed there last, and it exceeded all of my expectations. From the rooms, the bar/dining areas and everything in between I could not find any fault with my stay. The staff there are phenomenal, it's an extremely busy hotel with both residents and locals, and even though they were full to capacity they handled food and drink service with absolute ease. I was lucky enough to stay in one of their king rooms and it was absolutely huge, the bath and shower facilities were also top range. I wish they had provided some toiletries for the bath as all products were secured to the wall in the bathroom but that was just a minor issue. I will definitely be back to visit again in the future and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation in the area.

We had a very pleasant stay in Castle Varagh Hotel.Room was nicely decorated and staff friendly and helpful.Very good breakfast and hotel Barford was also well done.Great location....lots to do near castlepollard....recommend a visit to Tullynally castle and gardens.

Quick check in by very pleasant Receptionist. Room very clean and beds very comfortable. Great choice of items for breakfast Dinner is Tom's bar was exceptional. Food amazing. Beautiful selection of deserts. Staff were amazing, overall a great hotel to stay in.

We enjoyed our stay ,great location and easy to park, the rooms are great and comfy beds, the only picky thing is i would of liked a bottle of water put in the room. The best part was the breakfast, great selection and huge portions, sets you up for the day, the staff amazing so helpful.

We stayed in this hotel a few times but this time were again pleasantly surprised at the upgrades. The hotel is fabulously updated, all rooms, including bar and restaurant. Staff are still as welcoming and friendly as ever. Food tasty. All in all an exceptional hotel, off the beaten track, with lots of amenities in the locality. Child friendly also.
